Visit the Gallery
Stop by 830 Fleming Street in Key West to see the latest exhibition in person, alongside the shop's sea salts, honey, jewelry, pottery, wine, and books by local authors.
The art collection at SALT Island Provisions reflects the same spirit of thoughtful curation found throughout the gallery. Each piece is selected to complement the natural textures and coastal tones that define the space, from seascapes and abstract works to intimate sketches and watercolor studies. Whether you are a seasoned collector or a first-time visitor, the rotating exhibitions offer a chance to discover emerging and established voices alike. The gallery walls become a quiet conversation between the art and the surrounding island landscape, inviting guests to slow down and take in the visual storytelling that unfolds from one frame to the next.
Beyond the gallery walls, the shop carries an array of handmade pottery and artisan jewelry that echo the same attention to craft and material. Each ceramic piece bears the marks of its maker, with glazes that recall the shifting hues of the ocean at different times of day. The jewelry collection features natural stones, metals, and organic forms that feel both modern and timeless. These wearable and functional works of art allow visitors to bring a piece of the gallery experience home, serving as daily reminders of the beauty found in handmade objects and the stories they carry.
The gallery also serves as a gathering place for the creative community, hosting rotating exhibitions that highlight a range of mediums and perspectives. From plein air watercolor paintings to urban sketch series, each show brings a fresh lens to the island’s vibrant arts scene. Visitors are encouraged to explore the current exhibition while also browsing the carefully stocked shelves of local sea salts, Keys honey, and wines that pair well with a leisurely afternoon. The space is designed to feel welcoming and unhurried, where art and everyday provisions exist side by side in harmony.
For those unable to visit in person, the spirit of the gallery extends through the shop’s broader collection of books, accessories, and artisan goods that capture the essence of island living. The same eye for quality and authenticity that guides the art selection informs every item on the shelves. Local authors, small-batch makers, and independent artists are represented throughout the store, creating a layered experience that rewards curiosity. Whether you are drawn to a painting, a piece of pottery, or a jar of sea salt, each object carries a sense of place and purpose that connects you to the Florida Keys.
